Our clothes washer stopped mid cycle full of clothes and water. It wouldn't agitate, spin, or drain. After ticking through a list of potential issues, we found a small sock that got sucked into the drainage assembly. It was blocking water and not permitting the motor to turn.
We've had this clothes washer for nearly 15 years and it's been great, glad we can keep her going.
Free Sashco product box. Looking forward to using these on projects in the line up, especially the custom color caulk.
During the fascia re-staining project we also rebuilt this chimney trim surround with new material and matching stain. An ant spray was used to neutralize their presence and then the joints and seams of the build were caulked with sealant to prevent water and pest penetration.
The fascia on this house was ready to be re-stained in order to extend its life and provide protection to the house for years to come. At the end of the previous year we replaced some of the worst boards that had been destroyed by pests. This year the client was ready for this stage of the project. #RepeatClients
We were fortunate to spend 10 days away from work and home as a family before the kids went back to school. Highly recommend Ludington State Campground. The lighthouse was worth the hike!
Zip Hinges for downspout extensions. Easily position the downspout vertically during lawn care and then back down afterwards. Reduces the hassle of string trimming around the downspout extension and often damaging them. Or worse yet, forgoing the extension and not getting the water far away enough from the foundation of the house, which can lead to water in the basement. #RepeatClient
Installing a stone veneer on a 30' x 48' barn that matched the adjacent home. Approximately 60 sq. ft. with two outside corners. Limestone used as sills.
A cabinet system with a peninsula counter was redesigned which left an unfinished side. A pre-finished birch plywood (1/2" ultra violet cured for durability) and clear coated maple trim were the chosen materials. #RepeatClient
We're performing a test refinishing on this Yankee gutter on a commercial building. Using specialized industrial primer and finish coat.
Built a couple utility walls and installed 2 roll up steel doors (6' wide x 7' tall). This is under an existing porch and will provide additional garage type space for outdoor equipment and storage. We finished the exterior with matching siding. The homeowner is going to paint in the Spring.
Replaced the end of fascia boards that deteriorated from sun, snow and rain. The boards were cut and stained to match. The previous holes were large enough for birds and other critters to nest inside (which were removed of course). The homeowner intends to have all the fascia and soffits to be re-stained for aesthetics and to protect the wood for years to come.
Converted a bath to a shower and added a new glass sliding door. The client chose to keep the majority of the tiling and fortunately had surplus unused tile to match where the tub used to be. The shower floor was custom cut from a solid surface material with a molded door to the drain. This transformation will allow the homeowners to stay in a home that they love for their next stage of life.
After and before photos of a commercial building project to add door latch guards and covering adjacent windows for added security. Approximately a dozen doors of different designs and sizes.
Transformed a small trailer to haul project debris from a worksite, or building supplies to a project. Can carry over 1,000 pounds or about a cubic yard of material. The tailgate doubles as ramps. The removable orange driveway marks assist during backing up. It remains small enough to be stirred in the garage or barn.
Upgraded a block basement window to an approved egress window. The client can now finish a bedroom in the basement. This larger window also brings in more natural light to the interior.
Upgrading from a vinyl shower surround to a porcelain tiled shower with a corner bench / step. Included demolition, re-framing, waterproofing, 24 hour leak test, custom cut large format tile for the sloped floor to a center drain, wall tiling, aluminum edging, grouting, corner shelves, and new fixtures.
Replaced deteriorated exterior trim on a chimney chase. The chase did not have a weather barrier, which contributed to its decay. We used a full color stain on new rough sawn pine boards to match the rest of the house. Before reinstalling, we added new OSB with an embedded weather barrier and used flashing tape on all edges and joints. Custom bent and cut aluminum Z-flashing was installed between the vinyl siding and the trim boards as an added layer of security. We insulated and sealed the bottom of the chase as an air and pest barrier.
Upgraded 5 basement windows from the original metal hoppers to new vinyl sliders.
